Interested girls are introduced to agriculture!
A group of girls wert to the compound of the new Boys' 18+ Hostel and Thirumaran introduced them to aspects of agriculture:
- What is agriculture?
- Why are we planting trees?
- How do we grow coconut trees?
- How to make manure and compost
- How does drip irrigation work?
The boys are enthusiastic about farming; the girls were interested to learn and to try.
