Press reports spread knowledge of Thirumaran's work at TRUST Children's Homes
Thirumaran's visit to Malaysia to discover the grave of his father made the national news in India and was even reported by the BBC. It's a remarkable story.
A First Aid training was arranged for the Police, provided by Aaekalaivan, Thirumaran's son, who is now a practising dentist.
The Local Government Hospital visits TRUST-INDIA school for a Blood Donation Camp. Teachers and ex-TRUST Children's Home College Students give blood. This is the 3010'th Blood donation Camp organised by Thirumaran since 1987.
The 'Peace Bench', originally donated in memory of a GAP year volunteer at TRUST and much used by the children, gets an update.
News of TRUST Children's Homes is also spread in local villages through the distribution of calendars that are displayed where people gather, such as tea shops.
